On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Supportive Living Services proudly participated in the 24th Annual Walk for Autism hosted by the Autism Society NWPA at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, PA. This flagship event was an incredible celebration of community, support, and shared commitment to creating a more inclusive world for individuals on the Autism spectrum.
Despite the chill in the morning air, the high winds, and the misty fog, the energy at the Speedway was felt. Families, friends, local organizations, and community supporters gathered in a powerful show of unity and purpose. The walk officially kicked off at 11:00 AM following heartfelt pre-walk announcements, and our team was thrilled to be part of this vibrant and inspiring day.
The event featured much more than just the walk. Attendees enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, including the Kidz Exploration Station, team photo opportunities, and interactive selfie stations. Local food trucks kept everyone fueled and happy, while the deluxe and themed basket auctions brought out some fun competition, all in the name of supporting vital Autism programs in our community.
As a proud participant, Supportive Living Services joined in to show our continued support for individuals with Autism and their families. We believe in the mission of the Autism Society NWPA, and we’re honored to be part of this fundraising effort where 100% of proceeds stay local, directly funding programs like:

The walk wasn’t just about raising money—it was about making connections, sharing stories, and advocating for acceptance. For us, it was also a moment to reflect on how we can keep pushing forward to build a more inclusive and supportive future for the people we serve every day.
