Who can participate as a performer?

      • Individuals aged 21 and above with a documented intellectual or developmental disability are eligible to submit a performance video.

      • Participants should be comfortable performing in front of a live audience in a concert-style setting.

    • To ensure this is an inclusive event, all participants must have a current Supports Coordinator through an agency such as ECCM, Supports Coordination Unlimited, CRI, or A Bridge to Independence.

Are there any restrictions on what type of song I can perform?

    • There are no strict restrictions on the type of song you can choose!
    • While First to Eleven typically performs rock music, you’re welcome to pick a song from any genre. Choosing something that fits their high-energy style, like rock, pop, or alternative, can help it blend well during the live performance, but it's not required. We encourage you to select a song that showcases your personality and makes you feel like a rockstar!

How do I submit a video?

    • Prepare a 30-second to 1-minute video of yourself performing the song of your choice. This can be done right from your phone!

    • Upload your video by following these steps:

      • Click “Add Video”

      • Select “Choose File” to upload your video

      • Enter a video title

      • Enter the performer’s name under “Creator”

      • Read the Terms & Conditions and check the confirmation box

      • Fill in any additional required fields

      • Click “Upload” to complete your submission

Can I perform with an instrument instead of singing?

    • Performers who wish to perform alongside First to Eleven with an instrument will be considered. Just like any other performer submitting a video, yours will be considered by the review team, and you will be notified via email if you are selected by October 31st, 2025.

Who will be reviewing my submission video?

    • A team of six Supportive Living Services staff members will review, along with the First To Eleven band members.

How long will you retain my submission video for?

    • All submission videos will be kept until the event date (Sunday, March 1st, 2025).

Can my caretaker take the video and upload my submission for me?

    • Absolutely! We just ask that the caretaker read the terms and conditions to the individual, and the individual must give consent.

When is the deadline for submissions?

    • All video submissions must be uploaded by Tuesday, September 30th, 2025.

    • Selected performers will be notified via email by Friday, October 31st, 2025.

What should I expect at the event?

    • A high-energy, live concert experience with performances from both First to Eleven and selected community performers.

    • Loud music, stage lighting, and a concert-style atmosphere.

    • A welcoming and inclusive environment celebrating talent, diversity, and creativity.

What if I have sensory sensitivities?

    • We understand some individuals may be sensitive to loud sounds and bright lights.

    • To help you prepare, we’ve included a link to a live performance by First to Eleven so you can preview the noise level and visual effects before attending.
